Springfield Challenger Little League Baseball has been serving kids and teens with special needs for 12 years. In those years, we have introduced many people to the fulfilling and enriching world of volunteerism.
So many folks are eager to be introduced to the world of volunteering, but would feel more secure doing so in a well trained, structured, supervised setting. Our BUDDIES will gain an opportunity to experience life from the eyes of a child who is challenged and will understand the community’s responsibility to support persons with developmental disabilities. It should be emphasized that this is a mutually rewarding experience for the BUDDY as well as the athlete.
